GBI welcomes former Disney exec as vice president of digital

Jason Brumbaugh joins the firm in the newly created role, as GBI continues its steady growth this year.

Genius Brands International is continuing its steady growth with the appointment of Jason Brumbaugh as vice president of digital.

The industry veteran, boasting over 15 years experience in the digital space, takes up the newly created position and will now be responsible for leading all of GBI’s digital initiatives.

These initiatives will include creating and maintaining web communities; developing and implementing online marketing strategies to build awareness and traffic; creating social media engagement and create promotional content to bolster global awareness of brands such as Baby Genius, Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club and more.

In his new role, the former producer at Disney Interactive Media Group will report to president o GBI, Amy Moynihan.

“As GBI’s portfolio of brands continues to grow, and we start to introduce these new original properties in to the commercial marketplace, the digital presence of these brands is a critical element to our business,” said Moynihan.

“Jason is not only an accomplished digital executive with extensive experience in the kids’ space, but is also a knowledgeable strategic thinker who will lead our digital efforts with purpose, to build meaningful digital footprints for our brands.”
