Stan Lee's Mighty 7 Heads Down Under

PARIS (January 31, 2014): The broadcast rights for Stan Lee's Mighty 7, the first installment of an animated movie trilogy produced by Stan Lee Comics, have been snapped up by ABC TV Australia.Stan Lee's Mighty 7 will begin airing on ABC3 later this year. The 90-minute film, represented by PGS Entertainment, stars an animated version of Stan Lee, whose character teaches a group of aliens how to become superheroes. Additional members of the voice cast include Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Jim Belushi (The Defenders), Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), Darren Criss (Glee), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger), Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives), Michael Ironside (Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising) and Christian Slater (Breaking In)."Australia is a great market for this property and ABC3 is the perfect fit," said Guillaume Soutter, co-founder of PGS Entertainment.
