Secret Millionaires Club Launches Kit for Kids

A TV series from America’s most iconic investor is launching a new toy kit designed to help children become financially literate. “Business in a Box,” produced by A Squared Entertainment, is part of Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, a TV and web series that teaches children basic financial skills and promotes an understanding of business. The series has spawned two DVD releases from Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment that focus on promoting savings and earning money, a release noted. Toys ‘R’ Us will carry two versions of “Business in a Box,” helping children launch their own lemonade stand or car washing business. A new book based on the Secret Millionaires Club, called Secret Millionaires Club: Warren Buffett’s 26 Secrets to Success in the Business of Life, written by the series’ producers has been published by Wiley.The co-founder of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B), Warren Buffett is the second wealthiest man in the U.S., according Forbes’ most recent ranking.Last month, Buffett offered his insight on investing to an assembly of Georgetown University students.Earlier this year, Buffett donated $2 billion worth of Berkshire Hathaway shares to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, topping his prior year’s donation of $1.8 billion.
